"My journey started on November first, twenty twenty, at about seven in the morning. It was dark and cold, but despite the rude awakening, there were immediate and undeniable benefits to getting up early to complete a lap. The stillness, the solitude, the scenery. The feeling of doing something I really didn’t have to do, and knowing I would probably do it again the next day. On November fifth, I took a photo with my phone and shared it on Facebook with what I imagined was a clever, enigmatic and poignant title... Day 1."
