SHORTS - Call for collaborators.

I wasn’t going to release this short album until much later this year (it was going to be a Chrimbo freebie), but I had an idea early this morning.

SHORTS is a collection of twenty, sub two minute instrumentals that I have accrued over the last few years. Some are just quick ideas that went nowhere, some are stalled songs, some went on to become songs in one description or another.

If you are a musician/songwriter with some kind of recording capability, have a listen and see if any of them take your fancy to do something, anything with. I don’t mind what you do, remix, extend, strip down, add-to, rearrange, write lyrics. I don’t care if the end result is unrecognisable.

I will make all multitrack recordings available, everything is recorded in Logic Pro X, you may be able to import into whatever software you use, or you can simply record directly on top of these recordings.

Please consider this if you have some time on your hands in the coming weeks and are looking for a creative music project. In my head I have already fantasised that enough people have a go to be able to release them all on Bandcamp when we get to the other side of this. The album will be called “ISOLATED” (or something like that). Meaning that it was all done whilst isolated from each other.

I’m going to look into the best way to share the Logic files, they are currently on Google Drive, but meanwhile, contact me and I will arrange file transfer on a one to one basis.
